One quick simple step can save a lot of time and frustration. Convert content from other sources into plain text before pasting it into your page(s).

Pasting content from other programs & websites into your web page can have unpredictable results, as these sources embed styling code in the content that often can not be over written using the Editor

It's a fairly easy process to prepare your content before you paste it into your web page. Simply paste the content into a simple text editor first, this will strip the styling code from the content, and then copy the content from the simple editor and paste it into your page. Taking this simple first step will make using the editor much more enjoyable and efficient when coping with pasted content from outside sources.

On the Mac.

Copy and paste your source content into a new Plain Text Document in TextEdit.
Copy and Paste your content from the TextEdit document into the area on the web page.

On the PC.
Copy and paste your source content into a new Plain Text Document in NotePad.
Copy and Paste your content from the NotePad document into the area on the web page.
