Using RSS Feeds on Your Website
Why use RSS feeds on your website?
The reason to use RSS feeds on your website is simple - they draw attention to your site while providing information that your viewers are interested in.  By focusing a web search on your specific criteria, you draw others to your site that are interested in the information that you have requested in your search.

For example, let's say you are interested in sharing information about the newest information available regarding children's health and nutrition in schools in the United States.  Perhaps you started your search on Google in the following way:

Based on your search criteria, you might receive an RSS feed that looks like this on your site:

Now each link in your feed will direct viewers to the website or blog where the news story is stored.  You have become a virtual expert in your field, making you an indispensable resource to visitors to your site.  Congratulations!
